
Letter of Agreement
November 13, 2006
American Eagle Airlines and Regional Airline Academy (RAA) Inc. have formed
an alliance with respect to American Eagles pilot recruitment and interviewing
policy.
American Eagle recognizes the quality of training the Regional Airline Academy
Flight Officer School provides and the airline-ready pilots the program produces.
American Eagle Airlines agrees to guarantee interviews to pilots completing
the Regional Airline Academy Flight Officer School who meet the following requirements
and American Eagle Airlines is interviewing pilot candidates:
- Successfully complete the RAA Flight Officer School with a letter of recommendation
from the RAA Vice President of Airline Programs
- Attain a minimum of the following FAA Certificates and Ratings:
- FAA First Class Medical Certificate with No Waivers
- Commercial Certificate
- Instrument and Multi-Engine Ratings
- CRJ Type rating through the RAA Flight Officer School
- 400 Hours total flight time (may include 25 hours of CRJ Level D
simulator time)
- 100 Hours multi-engine time (may include 25 hours of CRJ Level D
simulator time)
Applicants who interview with American Eagle Airlines under this Agreement must
meet the same standards for employment as other candidates of American Eagle
Airlines. Each applicant must pass all phases of the interview, including a
human resources interview, technical interview; simulator evaluation, Captains
Board Review and submits to a company physical.
Applicants who successfully complete American Eagle Airline s interview
process may be offered employment based on American Eagles hiring needs
at the time of the interview. Although American Eagle forecasts pilot hiring
to be consistent for the foreseeable future, economic conditions can change
hiring requirements. American Eagle Airlines and Regional Airline Academy will
maintain close coordination on current overall trends in training and the progress
of Flight Officer School graduates.
American Eagle Airlines and the Regional Airline Academy Inc have the right
to terminate this Agreement at any time without restriction. The Regional
Airline Academy may publicize this Agreement, but may not use the American
Eagle logo without permission. American Eagle is very please about this Alliance
and looks forward to a long and successful relationship with the Regional
Airline Academy.
