FAR Part 141

Courses Include: Private Pilot certificate, Commercial Pilot certificate, Flight Instructor certificate, Flight Instructor Instrument certificate, Ground Instructor certificate, Airline Transport Pilot certificate, Instrument rating, Multi-Engine private and commercial ratings, Multi Engine Instructor rating, and aircraft specific type ratings.

This section of the Federal Aviation Regulations deals with the certification of Pilot Schools (Flight Schools). This includes flight school certification, approval for flight training courses, flight school aircraft, and a host of other regulations affecting all certified flight schools in the United States. FAR Part 141 approved flight courses offer a more focused and structured training curriculum, and must meet a higher standard of training. Licensed and FAA approved pilot schools are regulated and must train according to FAR Part 141 regulations.
