2/28/2007 - RAA has 25 Graduates Hired by Regional Airlines in Two Days
The true success of any flight school should be measured by its’ ability to teach the necessary knowledge and skills for getting pilots jobs, and its’ effort to assist in their placement. Regional Airline Academy is very proud to announce 11 more of our graduates were hired by Pinnacle Airlines when they were interviewed on site at our Mesa, Arizona campus in late February 2007. In January, 2007, 14 graduates were hired when American Eagle Airlines conducted interviews at our Deland, Florida campus.
Although they were mostly low-experience pilots, their training for the airlines in the RAA ATC program was critical to their successful interview and simulator evaluations. “Based on our experience with partner airlines, the ATC Phase 1 course and multi-engine time are the keys to getting hired” says Capt. Tucker, the new President of Regional Airline Academy. This was the second time Pinnacle Airlines has conducted interviews at an RAA campus, taking 13 of our graduates the first time. American Eagle has conducted several interviews at RAA campuses in the past years, each time hiring several graduates.
RAA congratulates our students. We are proud of the training provided, but we know the credit goes to the students who did the work and demonstrated to American Eagle Airlines, Pinnacle Airlines, as with our other partner airlines, the skills, knowledge and attitude so necessary to be hired by today’s large regional airlines.
