| Regional Airline Academy aviation schools are located
only 15 miles from Daytona Beach, Florida and Phoenix, Arizona. Our Florida flight
training center is only minutes away from the most popular beach in the world,
Daytona Beach, which offers a relaxing and fun atmosphere for students to hang
out and enjoy the warm sunny weather. The Ft. Pierce, Florida area is located in Florida's “Treasure Coast” region. Its white sand beaches, mild climate throughout the year and warm hospitality has attracted visitors to this area for years. Because of its convenient location in St. Lucie County, the Ft. Pierce area is also the perfect spot for vacationers looking for easy access to Florida's other attractions. Walt Disney World, historic West Palm Beach to the south, Cape Canaveral, Space Port USA, Sea World and Universal Studios are all just a short distance from Regional Airline Academy. The beach is open and accessible year round. The average annual temperature is 70.8 degrees Fahrenheit. Winters are mild and short, while summers are warm, with a constant ocean breeze. On average, students are able to fly over 360 days a year.
Only 15 minutes from our aviation
school campus, Daytona Beach offers
many events such as the Daytona Speedway (home of the Daytona 500), Spring Break,
Bike Week, and many other activities for student to enjoy on their time off. Only
30 minutes away is Orlando, home of the Orlando Magic basketball team, Sea World,
Disney World, and Universal Studios! Orlando is also known for its great activities
such as concerts, plays, and many other fun events held each year. Just
30 minutes from our Arizona aviation school campus, Phoenix
provides the excitement of the Old West within a thriving metropolitan area brimming
with cultural activity. More than three dozen luxurious resorts and more than
200 picturesque golf courses helped earn Greater Phoenix the title of Golf
Capital of the World. When its time for fun and relaxation, get out
and see a show, symphony or ballgame in Downtown Copper Square, visit museums
filled with Native American art and history, and enjoy incredible culinary delights.
As one of only eight US cities to field teams in all four major professional sports,
Greater Phoenix is a sports haven. Each flight training student
needs time to study and relax. Our new aviation school facilities provide a place
for the students to study and relax between flights and ground schools. Our housing
complexes are also great places for needed quiet time to work on flight training
studies. Only 5 minutes from both aviation school campuses, our housing provides
areas to relax with friends and classmates. Our two-bedroom housing complexes
provide a comfortable atmosphere with spacious rooms, pools, trails, and fitness
rooms. With the warm weather Florida and Arizona have to offer,
year-round-flying and flight training is available at both RAA aviation schools.
This enables the student to complete his or her training in a short period of
time. There is an average of over 300 plus days of flying weather each year. |
